Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will send an e-mail to confirm a booking made through this website, along with the provider confirmation, and so that you may review the product upon your return. We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
Our comparison site uses the booking and payment services of 4 parking providers, namely APH, BCP, FHR and Holiday Extras, who operate both in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the following policy.
What personal information do we ask for?
When you have searched for prices and availability and are ready to confirm your booking, we will ask for your name, your postal and address and e-mail address. We'll also need your credit/debit card details (including card number, cardholder name and expiry date) in order for our trusted parking partners to take payment and confirm the booking on-line. If you're paying by debit card we may also need to take the start date and issue number of the card.
We'll also ask you for your telephone number so that, if needed, you can be contacted regarding your booking.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date and if you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
How we protect your information
All the information you give us is protected by a secure server. The secure server software SSL (Secure Socket Layers) encrypts all information you enter before it is sent to our trusted parking partners to confirm your booking. You can tell our site is secure as a small locked padlock will appear in the bottom left of your browser to show that you can safely send credit card details through our site. Another indicator is that our secure pages will not display a 'security alert' message. We also have a Firewall (security software) in place to protect our internal information from the Internet.
Does the Simply Parking site use cookies?
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be temporarily stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
