Right next to the Terminal Building. Just drive in park and walk into the Terminal. It could not be easier. The pre-paid ticket was very easy and getting it validated at the information desk on return was no problem. No time wasted waiting for transfer busses or long walks to the Terminal, just Drive-in and Fly

When we arrived it was raining as there is no facility to collect your car and pick up passengers nearer the terminal

When we arrived home it was raining, when we got to our car our suitcases were a mess from the carpark surface (gravel),consequently when we put them in the car ,the car boot became a mess too.

this has to be the best airport i have flown from. but the car parking has to be the easiest i have ever used. right on the airport no need for tranfers. just a few hundred yards walk away. brilliant.

Overall I had a very good experience. Easy to book online. Being a new driver to the UK I found the maps online easy to follow and I had no problems at all. It was nice to park so close to the airport and be able to walk just a few steps to the terminal.

Assuming that the temporary barriers and lack of surfacing mean that a re-furbishment programme is planned, the only real problem will be solved. Overall, a good option.

I've been going to Blackpool Airport infrequently for about six years. The car-park was fine until now. Obviously extended, it really should be in better shape. Needs to be marked out with room to manouvre and a vaguely level surface would not be unreasonable. It is a shame that a super service is rather spoiled by a quite dreadful car-park. Please note that 'transfers' above seems wholly inappropriate to Blackpool Airport

Absolutely no problems, straight in and out. Friendly staff. Hope it continues if and when we get the airport expansion!! Didn't have a problem when i misplaced my ticket, gave the staff member my booking ref and he gave me a ticket to get out.

Directions to the parking area could have been clearer, especially to the overspill parking when main parking area was full. There didn't seem to be any luggage trolley bays in the parking area, and we were very glad we had wheelie suitcases. But compared with big airports it was a doddle.

This was the first time we had travelled from Blackpool Airport but have friends that have done a few times before, and we were so pleased with the service we received from both the airport and Simply Parking that we are looking to travel from there in future.

Had to drive around looking for a space which was very difficult to find eventually had to leave car next to a trolley park & hope it would not be damaged. Car park surface poor, no marked parking bays no help available and no obvious signs of security.

When we arrived the signposting for long stay was very confusing! We entered the car park close to the terminal to find it very small, no marked bays & more like rough ground than a parking area. We couldn't leave so we ended up parking on a grass verge, next to the perimeter fence, inbetween a dirt road & another fence. As we have quite a large estate car, we just prayed that no-one would scratch down the side. We couldn't see any security cameras, so if we had been hit, then it looked unlikely that we would find out, & we would have been left to pay a hefty excess on our insurance. Upon leaving we couldn't find the place to validate our ticket, but we spoke to someone at the barrier who lifted it for us, which was better than causing a queue! Didn't see anyone around to ask for help, glad we didn't have young children to contend with!

Parked the car in outside overflow car park. Saw no staff, no transport available. Easy Walk to terminal only drawback would have been if raining. Car was still there on return 5 days later so everything was fine.

You get what it says on the tin. Proximate airport parking. One tip: drop your bags off first then park your car; you can be deceived by the distance. It is near, BUT a long way with heavy cases! Also, book on line as it can be expensive if you don't.

When I arrived at Blackpool Airport, my partner dropped me off with the luggage then parked the car, but had I been travelling alone it would have been a real problem for me to take my luggage from where I had to park. It was quite some distance from the car park and being unable to carry any bags also, there were no trollies in the car park.

The surface is stone, dirt, potholes and puddles - impossible to wheel a suitcase over. No lining so cars parked with no thought for others access. On return after only 5 days, the car was covered in dust and dirt from passing vehicles, my first stop was to a car wash. How they have the effrontery to charge what they do for the use of this derelict site is a disgrace.

The car park didn't seem very secure and has a limited number of spaces. I do realise the airport is only small but the parking facility is very substandard.

Internet booking was easy. On return from our holiday it was unclear where to receive your car park exit ticket. It was only after asking one of their manual staff that told us to go to 'Tourist Information Desk'.
