On arrival, take a ticket from the entry barrier and park your car, making a note of the zone and bay. The terminal is only a short walk from the car park.
Take your entry ticket along with your booking confirmation to the NCP desk located in the Arrivals Hall, where they will provide you with an exit ticket.
Collect your car and insert your exit ticket at the barrier.
A courtesy bus to Cardiff On-Airport parking runs between 1st May and 31st October. At other times you can walk from your car to the ground floor check-in area in just a few minutes.
Bays for Orange Badge Holders are available next to the entry and exits.

Great location and frequent transfers to aiport if required,although the terminal is only 2-3 mins walk away,superb
Arriving in dark early hours of morning in pouring rain found it very difficult to find changed access to long stay at Cardiff airport. Feel there should have been far more signs. Was eventually directed to new long stay overflow carpark where I found the road surface very unlevel & flooded. Staff & transport to terminal very good
The overspill car park is a distance from the terminal and would benefit from more frequent coaches. The process of pre booking should be explained in on your website. Getting your ticket validated on your return is a pain.
We arrived at Cardiff airport in the early hours of the morning (5.00am) after a five hour journey however were very pleasantly surprised to find directions to the nearby long stay car park. Despite there being a shuttle service from the car park to the terminal it was a delight to find that the car park was within a short walking distance, 10 min at the most. Our return fight into Cardiff, from the USA, was also in the early hours of the morning (2.30am) and so it was pleasing to be dealt with promply and courteously by NCP staff within the arrivals area. Equally, there was a very prompt transfer on the shuttle bus in operation for passengers and baggage to the car park. Again car park attendents were helpful and friendly and so we were able to make a hasty departure for our long journey to return home! I would highly recommend this car park.
Relatively easy to find a space we got very close to terminal building. Well signposted in alphabet blocks. However as we had paid upfront we thought we could use the ticket given on way in to exit with. Not the case! We had to go back to terminal building show proof of payment and was then given an exit ticket by a very helpfull attendant. It was not made clear on the booking form that this had to be done before leaving the terminal. So be warned but overall easy haslefree parking. We would definately do it again as there is no hanging about waiting for transport.
Arrived in daylight no indication of transfer pickup so walked to terminal - OK if you avoid the steps out of the car park otherwise you have to lift or bump your cases up, arrived back in the dark, car park poorly lit. When purchasing parking ticket would be helpful if NCP advise you of procedure when arriving and departing.
Having the customer service desk in the airport building wasn't a help but a major nuisance. Having a person by the payment kiosk at the car park would be far more practical for travellers.
Using the long stay parking on my own for the first time ( my late husband used to do it all) I found it easy to find my way around . The staff were polite and helpful and the pick up bus was marvelous. I have the confidence to travel more on my own now. Watch out world here I come.! Mrs Liz Davies Swansea.
car park was a bit full had to drive around for 15 min before finding a parking space. the tranfer bus was easy to find.on return flight the bus was out side on time. driver very pleasent and helpfull. thank you for a good service.
Quite easy to explain above..It was quick & easy once we found the right car park, we were told to fo to car park 1 on arrival was then told to go back and use car park 2, Lack of communication between attendants comes to mind!...other than that no problems what so ever.
Not sufficient signage information - two car parks - not enough signage to ensure you wer in the right place - had to go to secuity and was told it was the wrong one! Then went up to arrivals and was told the 2nd carpark was ok to park in - confusing.
When I picked up the car after 1 week there was bird mess all over it and I'm not talking little birds here. I will definitely use the parking facilities again but will make sure I park well away from anywhere that birds might think is their toilet seat. Perhaps the exit voucher should come with a car wash voucher attached!
I've used the long stay parking facility at Cardiff airport for years now and have always found it a stress free exercise - even after the security changes were implemented in summer 2007. The staff are always clear in their instructions and friendly too. And this was pretty much my experience the last two times I used the car park this July. I know it's just parking your car but in today's 'terror' climate, I want to feel as if I'm entering a safe environment and the security surrounding the car park gives me that feeling as soon as I arrive. The transport is fab - my mum has a knee injury and this made our lives much easier. I am happy to use the service again.
Although we did'nt use the transfer service, we could see the bus going around. We found it just as easy to walk to the main building. A lot quicker and easier than previously when we have used independant transfers from outside the airport
Although the entrance to the long stay car park had been reconfigured it was not difficult to get our bearings at Crdif Airport. Once we had parked the car a bus came along within minutes and deposited us outside the departures building. Likewise on our return the bau was there waiting. This is the best and most efficient car parking service we have encountered to date - well done
On picking up our cases we went to the NCP booth where we were immediately dealt with . It was then just a matter of crossing the road to the car. So simple- thank you
On the departure we drove round and round for what seemed a very long time before finding a space in what seemed like an overspill area. This was early July so I can't imagine what it will be like in August!! The transfer bus then drove off just as we were getting there even tho' it wasn't particularly full, hadn't been there long and we're sure the driver saw us. On return it wasn't clear that you had to go to the desk to validate your ticket (or I didn't read it very well, but I wasn't the only one). This meant going all the way back to the airport when I discovered we couldn't get out. this added at least another 20 minutes to our homeward journey
found this a very quick & easy way of booking a car park on the airport grounds.saved a good amount on what we would have had we just turned up on the day.also very quick way to get out a bit quicker on the return.................
excellent service, polite and helpful on the phone & polite , helpful drivers, minutes from terminal to car and same in reverse with four children it was very helpful.
Nightmare trying to reach arrivals after picking up the car could not get into pick my partner up without detouring into the short stay car park and having to pay £1. It wasn't just myself who had the problem there were other people who had the same difficulty.
