Parking Express is Gatwick Airport's Official Long-stay car park. Facilities include a number plate recognition system and high level of security with the Park Mark Safer Parking Award. On-airport and only 5 mins transfer from the South Terminal. 5 min transfers to south terminal that run every 10 minutes

Arrival Procedure
Drive up to any entrance barrier and press the green button on the ticket dispenser to request a ticket. Your vehicles licence plate will automatically be read, Parking Express' system will check to see whether you are a recognised pre-book customer (if registration given at time of booking).
Follow directions to the appropriate parking zone. Make a note of your Parking Express zone, lane and bus stop number. At peak times it may be necessary for car park officials to park your car.

Departure Procedure
Within Gatwick Airport Terminal: Follow signs to "Courtesy Coaches" and then "Long Term Parking Buses". Courtesy transfer coaches will pick you up from the Parking Express (or Summer Special) Bus Stops on the Upper Forecourt. Please ensure that the coach you take is going to the car park/ zone that you require
Once at Parking Express: If your booking reference is printed on the entry ticket, drive to the exit barriers and insert entry ticket to depart. If the word 'cashier' appears on the entry ticket, park outside the Parking Express customer service office to exchange your entry ticket and booking confirmation for an exit ticket .

Transfers to Gatwick Airport
Transfers run to and from Gatwick South Terminal every 7-10 mins and take around 5 mins. A monorail service runs every 3 minutes from Gatwick South Terminal for passengers requiring the North Terminal.

Disabled Facilities
Parking Express have a number of dedicated disabled parking spaces located throughout the car park. Press a Customer Service Intercom point on one of the ticket dispenser machines at entry to be directed to a disabled parking spaces. Please note: Bus stops with disabled parking bays nearby have ramps for ease of access. Parking Express coaches are also designed to accommodate wheelchair access

Additional Services at Parking Express Gatwick
Parking Express has been officially appointed by Gatwick Airport to run the South Terminal's Long Term car park. Operating a number plate recognition system, Parking Express will automatically read your registration number on entry and exit from the car park (if registration supplied at time of booking), otherwise you will report to the customer service office.

• From the direction of London or Brighton, exit M23 at Junction 9, following signs on the roundabout for Gatwick Airport.
• Keeping on the inside lane, exit left at the next roundabout, following signs for the South Terminal and then take the second exit on the left, signposted "Long Stay Car Park".
• Follow signs for Parking Express.

Mr Balsom, 02 Jan 08 I'd certainly use this Car Park again. Next time, though, I'd make sure I go and wait by the first bus stop. First thing on a cold December morning, with a 18 month old in tow, you really don't appreciate bus drivers ignoring your stop and leaving you waiting.
Pros: Very convenient, cheaper than taking the train.
Cons: Buses sailing past cold punters.

Ms Kelly, 27 Dec 07 I find Parking Express convenient, but I got lost going from 1 zone to the other. Could do with more lighting and directions inside the car park zones.
Pros: Simple to use. You park and collect your car at any available space.
Cons: Needs more lighting and direction inside.

Pros: Very easy to use. Saved all the worry.

Mr Jacoyange, 19 Dec 07 I never talked to anyone, got in, parked my car, took my bus to the airport which took about 4 mins, got back waited for the bus for about 5 mins and went and took my car and drove off, number plate identification cameras worked superb, very easy transaction; will use from now on!
Pros: Very easy access to airport.
Cons: Remember to note down your bus stop and car location.

Mrs Brown, 19 Dec 07 On arrival, there was no specified area for pre-booked parking, which confused me. However, everything worked very well and we hardly had to wait any time at all for the bus at both ends. I thought it was good value.
Pros: Very near the terminus.
Cons: Uncertainty on arrival about where I should park.

Mr Gardiner, 06 Dec 07 I have used Parking Express on a number of occasions and other long term parking facilities. I find Parking Express more convenient, especially when booking online and using the vehicle registration recognition system at barriers. Providing Parking Express remain competitive I will continue to use their facilities.
Pros: Convenient access from M23 and to & from terminal.
Cons: Signage on approach to parking areas could be better illuminated during darkness.

Mrs Barber, 05 Dec 07 I could not fault this parking service. No wait for the bus and transferred to South terminal in 3 minutes. Brilliant, highly recommended. Exact same efficiency on return journey. I will now always use Parking Express when flying from Gatwick.
Pros: Fast, efficient, good value for money.

Mr Talbot, 29 Nov 07 Easy to get to, buses are regular & quick to get to terminal. Pre-payment is very easy: just take ticket on entry and return to barrier on way out (no need to go to customer services to get ticket validated before leaving, which I had to do at Heathrow Parking Express). Only slight problem was bus stops in car park seemed to be labelled as either stop N or Zone X, stop Y which was a bit confusing (or maybe it was late & I was tired).
Pros: Easy to find & quick, regular transfer to terminal.
Cons: Slightly confusing labelling of bus stops at the car park.

Mr Yau, 26 Nov 07 Transfer to airport was great, but transfer from airport terminal to car park is very poorly signposted! On leaving the terminal we could not find signs for which stops Parking Express operated from and we ended up going downstairs and waiting 15 minutes watching other companies transfers to their car park coming and going. We asked one of the drivers of these other companies who then said that Parking Express operated from upstairs at a different bus stop. When we found the correct stop, getting on the bus and back to the car park was no problem. BAD SIGNPOSTING FROM AIRPORT TERMINAL RE BUS STOP FOR PARKING EXPRESS OTHERWISE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

Miss. Edwards, 01 Nov 07 The massive advantage is that is is very near/in the airport and the computer number plate recognition makes the check in and out really speedy. Coach drivers are also very friendly. However, if you have a car alarm the car park is so close that the planes set it off. I don't have one but was worried that if I did on a new car I would come back to a flat battery and as you keep your car keys, there is no one who can turn it off. So, if you can turn your alarm off before you leave your car there then do!
Pros: Accessibility to airport; check in computer recognition; buses to airport.
Cons: Possible problems if you had a car alarm?

Julieo, 15 Aug 07 Really easy service to use. Easy access to bus stops for pick up and return. I wondered if the service to the terminal would be frequent enough, but I needn't have worried as we were heading towards check-in within five minutes of parking. Don't have much experience of airport parking, but chose this on the recommendation of others and would certainly endorse this.
Pros: Quick service to terminal.

Mr Howlett, 15 Aug 07 Getting from the car park to the airport was very simple - remember to write on your ticket your zone, row and also the bus stop number (as this is what gets shouted out by the driver). The nearest light was broken, which made it difficult to load up the car. The kids loved the planes coming in to land only about 100m overhead!
Pros: Regular bus service, easy service to use.
Cons: Some of the lights were broken in the car park, the bus didn't have Parking Express on the outside.

Mrs Luck, 14 Aug 07 Using Parking Express was simple from beginning to end. The rate was reasonable, the acknowledgment of our booking was immediate; the car park was clearly signposted on our arrival, and by making a note of our zone and bus stop number, our return was equally simple.
Pros: The convenience of door to door car travel, and a car waiting when we got back.
