Gatwick South Terminal Information
Please refer to the information below to help get your holiday off to a smooth start after parking at Gatwick.General Information
Check-in and departures are located on the right side of the terminal.
International and European flights - check in 2 hours prior to departureDomestic flights - check in 1 hour prior to departure
Make sure to check the television monitors listing flight information, as there are no flight calls made at Gatwick. Boarding usually begins about 45 minutes before departure.
Arrivals is located on the left side of the terminal.
International connections do not need to go through Immigrations or Customs, but all International to Domestic connections do.
Domestic to International connections - If baggage is through-checked, the special Immigration checkpoints can be used.
Baggage storage is open 24 hours and is located on the far wall of the Arrivals area, near Costa Coffee. Charges are £4.00 per item for 24 hours.
Facilities - Departures
Bureaux de Change- Travelex in Zone A (open 0600-1930) and in Zone J/K (open 24 hours)
- Thomas Cook in Zone F (open 24 hours) and in the mezzanine shopping area (open 0600-2100)
- Barclays, Midland and AbbeyLink machines in Zone G/H, opposite International Departures security entrance
- American Express ATM on the rail station concourse

- Available at no charge on the forecourt. Porters are also available.
- Located in the service zones near the check-in area, and throughout the mezzanine level.
- An inter-faith chapel is available in The Village.
- Mail box and stamp machine in Zone F
- Postal services available on the upper mezzanine level, including instant passport photographs, photocopying and a business card printing machine.
- Newsagent and bookstore located at check-in
- Wide selection of shops on the mezzanine level, including Accessorize, Boots, Monsoon and Thorntons
- Located at both ends and in the middle of the check-in area
- All mezzanine level toilets have disabled access. Showers are also available on the mezzanine level.
