Parking Express Overview

Parking Express is an official long stay car park offering regular transfers to and from Heathrow Airport. Located on-airport Parking Express holds the Park Mark ® Safer Parking award. 10 min transfers to terminals 1-3 12 min transfers to terminal 4 that run every 10 minutes

Arrival Procedure
Drive up to any entrance barrier and press the green button on the ticket dispenser to request a ticket. Your vehicle's licence plate will automatically be read and the system will check to see whether you are a recognised pre-book customer (which should take a matter of seconds).

If your vehicle's registration number is found on the system, the ticket dispenser will issue you a ticket with your booking reference number printed on it. Take this ticket and keep it with you while you are away.

If your vehicle's registration number is not found on the system, the ticket dispenser will still issue you with a ticket, but you will find that your booking reference number will not be printed on it. (Please note that if this does occur, it is not a problem. It merely means that you must visit the Customer Service Office on the return leg of your journey only, prior to your exit and one of our Receptionists will manually process your ticket for exit.)

The barrier will then open and you can proceed to find a parking space within a zone that you will be directed to. Park your vehicle (unless your vehicle is being parked by a member of our staff) and keep your parking ticket with you whilst you are away. Take a Parking Express coach to your terminal.

N.B. You might like to note down details of your parking location on the back of your parking ticket.

Departure Procedure
Heathrow Parking Express coaches offer free pick ups at the relevant bus stop points outside of the Arrivals Concourse on the Ground Floor:

Heathrow Terminal 1: bus stop 3
Heathrow Terminal 2: bus stop 6
Heathrow Terminal 3: bus stop 17
Heathrow Terminal 4: bus stop 3

If your booking number is printed on your parking ticket then proceed to any exit barrier, insert your ticket into the ticket slot and (provided that you have not overstayed your pre-booked period) you will be allowed to automatically exit the car park.

If your booking number is not printed on your parking ticket please drive to and park in the Customer Service Area near the exit barriers. Please then walk to the Customer Service desk and quote your booking reference number to one of the Receptionists, who will manually process your ticket for exit.

Transfers to Heathrow Airport
Parking Express transfers take only 10 minutes to Terminals 1, 2 & 3 and 12 minutes to Terminal 4. Scheduled to run every 8 minutes between 4.45 a.m. and 11.45 p.m. outside these hours service operates on request.

Disabled Facilities
Yes, low-floor buses with wheelchair spaces. There is also a BAA helpbus available if requested in advance

• From M25: Take Junction 14 turn off for Heathrow - or alternatively take Junction 15 turn off for M4 and then turn off M4 at Junction 4 for Heathrow

Mrs March, 27 Dec 07 The whole experience was easy, efficient and good value for money. The staff who go round the carpark offering help were brilliant!

Mr Aust, 21 Aug 07 Should leave 20 to 30 minutes on your journey above the time it takes to get to Heathrow in order to allow for finding the car park, finding the parking space, waiting for the transfer and then getting to the terminal.
Pros: Flexible.
Cons: Having to wait for buses. Not a big deal though.

Mrs Holmes, 07 Aug 07 Good signs to get to parking, poor signage to get back on to M25 from car park when leaving. Good clear website. Very competitive. Plenty of spaces when parking.
Pros: Cheap, onsite, fast pick up when going to airport.
Cons: Slow pick up when returning.

Jason Butcher, 18 Jun 07 I found the on-site Parking Express very reliable. Although it is by no means the cheapest, it is definitely worth it. I have used off-site parking before (Purple Parking), which is OK but has long transfer times and leaves you waiting around. No such problems here, and is also easier to find.
Pros: Convenient, quick transfers.
Cons: A bit more expensive than off-site parking.

Mr Hindmarsh, 15 Jun 07 Instructions given in e-mail on procedure on arrival / departure were very easy to understand, very good idea to include space on reverse of parking ticket to record vehicle location.
Pros: Easy to find in car.

Mr Held, 14 Jun 07 The best part of this service is that it is quick and easy to book, very reasonably priced given it's proximity to the terminals. But best of all was that I just put my ticket in the barrier when I wanted to leave the carpark and everything was taken care of. Very convenient that I didn't have to go and present a voucher to anyone. Not sure who else does this, but with other car parks I have to get out of the car, present the voucher, get back in car and then go. This was great!
Pros: Simple to book, Simple to find, Simple to park, simple to exit.

Mr Alderman, 07 Jun 07 It was simplicity itself compared to some of your rival companies that I have used in the past, but never again. Not the cheapest but certainly you get what you pay for!
Pros: All round excellent service, punctual.

Miss Lidster, 08 Feb 07 It might be an idea in busier times to assign buses to collect people for specific stops in the car park, rather than everyone all bundle into one and keep stopping. There was a lot of bashing people with luggage as people got on and off at each stop which could also be avoided. A great service though and good value for money!
Pros: No hassle in parking and regular buses were great.
Cons: Very crowded on return journey so took a long time to get to my stop.

Mr Johnston, 25 Jan 07 I got a quote for a return 'Private Hire Car' from Peterborough to Terminal 4. Out 25/12/06, return 16/01/07, the return price was a staggering £300. So I did a google and came across "Simply Parking". The rest, as they say, is history. The whole experience was quick, easy, secure and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone (in fact I already have). I will definitely use SP again.
Pros: First class parking service and very easy at an affordable price.

Mr Todorov, 20 Jan 07 Great location, easy to find, close to the airport, quick bus service to the airport and back. I parked my car and picked it up from where I left it - couldn't ask for more. It was the cheapest at the time and I would say one of the best. I will definitely use it again.

Anonymous From Guildford, 20 Jan 07 Less hassle than booking a taxi, and to my surprise cheaper (we travelled 25th December so getting a taxi was a challenge). We had lots of luggage on the way back but it wasn't as much hassle as we thought, just dropped it off at the bus stop and brought the car round.
Pros: Easy to book, great price, everything went smoothly.

Mr Woodward, 18 Jan 07 The experience was appalling. I arrived at the car park in good time (approx 4am) to be told that the car park was full. The staff on duty clearly had no idea where to direct me - I was given a voucher for a car park which was solely for passengers travelling from terminal 4. The fact that I was travelling from terminal 3 seemed immaterial to them. Only because I checked before departing the car park did I realise their mistake. Other cars stopped behind me to find out that they had been misdirected also. Who knows how many others before me had driven to the wrong car park and (very possibly) missed their flights. The superviser looked exasperated with her staff when I pointed out the problem. The price may be reasobnable, but the service, frankly, was appalling.
Pros: Price.
Cons: Service, reliability.

Mr Paddle, 23 Oct 06 Unfortunately I mislaid my parking ticket. The chap at reception however with my reference was able to deal with the matter and I was not delayed. I found the ticket about two minutes after leaving the car park but another car park could have been awkward in the circumstances.
Pros: Good directions, easy access, safe parking, regular buses.
