The car park is easy to locate, south of Tower Bridge. The staff are friendly and accommadating. The car park appears to be very secure, safe and plenty of room to manovure. A pleasant ten minute walk either across Tower Bridge or along the Thames path will get you to either Tower Hill tube station or London Bridge tube station. In the immediate area are several restaurants and bars, fronting on to the Thames. In comparrison th other car parks in London Butlers Whark is very good value, and importantly, outside the congestion charge zone.
A car park just beside Tower Bridge for how much?! Cheap, convenient, secure and well staffed. What more could you ask for?
Very good value for money, but as I have a large car I had to search for a suitable space. I would use the car park again
It is easy to get to Tower Bridge vis Docklands from anywhere north of London. Then it is an easy walk to an underground station.We.ve used it twice and there is always plenty of space.
Butler's Wharf is run by "Q Park". I've always found their facilities to be better on average than an NCP car park. If you're using the Underground and want to get into Central London quickly, use the London Bridge station. It's only one change from the Jubilee Line to the Northern Line to get into Oxford Street-Tottenham Court Road. Tower Bridge Station is quicker to get to on foot (about 10 minutes walk), but it's a bit of a walk underground to change from the District Line to the Central Line bewteen the Monument and Bank stations.
I had to deliver some wine and cake to a boat at Butlers Pier and as I was travelling a long way ,I wanted to be sure of parking so booked a 24 hour period. Attendant was very helpful. Beware no right turn into Queen Elisabeth st from south of Tower Bridge
I found this car park very easy to use. I also found it to be very reasonably priced. There could be more onward travel information on hand for the London ignorant like me, maybe some phone numbers for taxi's. Taht aside I had a very good edxperience using this car park. Thank you.
Add says that the attendant meets you and park car for you. no such thing. we didnt know what to do at the door and attendant knew hardly anything about the whole online orders. Still not too bad in the scheme of things and park offers good va;ue for money.
ease of booking on internet and guarantee of exact price made us use the car park. Liked the fact the car was in view of the attendant and undercover. Have recommend to friends.
This is the third time we have pre-booked parking at this carpark and have been more than satisfied with the facilities offered. We would have no hesitation in booking again next time we visit London. The attendants have always been very polite and helpful, a credit to the company.
I don't visit London often now and was pleased with the reception I received by the staff. Value for money was excellent. Car park near all amenities only wished I had more time to explore. Have recommended to my friends and can certainly recommend to others.
A reasonable place to park in london for a modest fee. Easy access to the tube network. Clean and tidy car park, well lit but without any other facilities.
This was our first trip to london with the car so wanted somewhere safe and secure to park for the week-end,The tube station is a 5-10 minutes walk from the car park. The car park staff was very friendly and easy to deal with,we collected our car on the Sunday afternoon and it was has we left it 10/10 will use again when we visit London.
Using a route finder made finding Butler's Wharf car parking very easy to find. We were nearly 1 hour over our time and we were not charged any extra. The walk to the nearest tube station was lovely as you got to walk over Tower Bridge and pass The Tower of London. Will not hesitate to use Butler's Wharf car park again when next visiting London.
In a nutshell, I googled for London parking, found simplyparking.co.uk, quick search and found this car park. Noticed it had a lot of good reviews so figured I couldn't really go wrong. And I was right! The parking felt safe and the guy at the end was helpful in sorting any queries I had out. In regards to previous reviews, specifically the location issues, I had no trouble what so ever finding it coming from the North. I armed myself with a fairly recent AtoZ, aimed for crossing tower bridge, first left and then third left (ish I recalled these direction through my shoddy memory) but that's roughly about it! Easy. If you are looking for good situ London parking at a good price, grab a AtoZ and book with Simplyparking. So easy and convenient, job well done! :)
Both times I have used the park I have had to drive away from the Bridge and then turn back on myself. Which is OK but I am not sure if there is a better exit route.
I've used Butler's Wharf car park twice in the last year - both times for a London day trip for exhibitions and theatre. I'd certainly use it again as booking on-line is easy and the car park is clean, tidy, well lit and staff are friendly and helpful. It's outside the congestion charge zone and in my view is very good value - even more so as it provides parking for up to 24 hours (useful for an overnight stop). You need to take account of the fact that there's a +/- 10 minute walk to the nearest underground station.
Great place to park. Fair old walk to tube but if you dont mind getting the bus this is only 5 mins away. We booked for 24 hrs and were just over. The attendant let us off any extra fees. Also very friendly etc. 2nd time used and great both times. Will never take the train again if staying overnight! Not green I know but...
The nearest underground is Tower Hill, which means walking over the bridge, which can be a bit windy in the winter! However, on a mild day it is great to walk along the embankment to a bridge further up that will take you into the West End.
We have recommended this car park to all our friends. Best value car parking in central london by far. One tip if you are approaching tower bridge from the south is to turn right well before the bridge and find your way to car park through side steets as you can't make a right turn on last few streets before bridge and if you turn left anywhere to enable you to then turn round and go straight over you will have entered the conjestion zone.
