Mrs Frances, 20 Oct 06
Overall I did find this an easy carpark to find... and to use. I use Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted much more frequently. This Mid Term parking at Luton was, apart from the poor parking surface and lack of good lighting(it was only just adequate...especially for females travelling alone!) very convenient with helpful staff around! I WOULD use it again! Pros: Easy to locate. Good value. Cons: Poor parking surface. Buses could have been more frequent.

Security is good. Well lit. Transfer to and from the terminal is fast. It's so close, but wait time for the bus was a bit too long. It is, of course, more expensive than the long term, but worth the extra for short trips because it is so much closer. Pros: Close to airport. Easy to find a space. Cons: Not many bus transfers. Had to wait quite a long time.
Mr Laverick, 08 Jun 06
The car park was easy to find and parking spaces were abundant. The shuttle busses were frequent to and from the terminal. The terminal was very close by. The return bus top at the terminal building was easy to find but got a bit crowded as it was next to other parking bus stops. Getting to the car park was quick, but finding the car took a little longer. There should be more Markers or colour codes to make it easier. There was someone on hand when we left to help at the barrier, but none was needed. Pros: Close to Terminal buildings. Frequent shuttle buses. Cons: Identifying where the car was parked was difficult on return.
Mr Muir, 25 May 06
Car park well signposted on approach road to airport. The shuttle bus only takes 5 mins to get you to the terminal and runs frequently.
Mr Harrison, 15 May 06
There is no nearer place to the terminal at Luton Airport to park than the Luton Mid Term parking offered by simplyparking.co.uk. Pros: Very near the terminal. Always room.
Mr Robinson, 11 Apr 06
If all goes smoothly, the time between parking and arriving in the terminal is minimal compared to eg. Stansted but sometimes the buses seem few and far between although on this particular occasion the transfer was fairly seamless. The system of using your credit card for access and on leaving is also very good. Pros: Easy access to terminal in time. Cons: Some waiting for shuttle bus.
Mr Burfitt-williams, 17 Feb 06
The transfers were quick and efficient, we didn't really have to wait. The place is easy to find, due to the web site instructions, and for a short weekend trip it is great value for money compared with other modes of transport. Pros: Easy to park, find and cost effective from central London. Cons: Surface of car park could be better in bad weather, which is the norm at this time of year.
Dr Ninnes, 30 Dec 05
A good compromise for business travel between short-term park (best access; expensive) and long-term park (cheapest; longer transfer time). Pros: Easy to book, access & use. Cons: Marginal benefit over cheaper long-term park.
Mr Legg, 02 Dec 05
Its a place to park the car, just two minutes by bus from the airport. The pickups could be more frequent, some of the people in the queue at 6.00 am had been waiting 20 minutes. The car was really muddy when I got back, it had been raining heavily and the surface is just loose gravel. Pros: Near to the airport. Cons: Expensive for what it is, more expensive than the flights!
Rev Touw, 20 Sep 05
This is a useful car park, and the convenience of booking 'online' makes it most convenient. Pros: I have always found the Mid-term car park to be convenient and efficient. Cons: I had rather a long wait for a coach on my return this time - two coaches went by empty and did not stop!
Mr Brayshaw, 19 Sep 05
Situated very close to the Airport Terminal with a very convenient entry system if you've pre-booked. Queue for return transfer was substantial and that was at 10.00pm on a Saturday night. Only moderate value given the cost of a valet park elsewhere. Website booking simple. Pros: Very close to the airport. Slick entry system. Cons: Large queues for return transfer.
Ms Higgins, 08 Sep 05
The car park is close to the terminal, and our transfer arrived quickly, however seems like a long wait if you have just missed a transfer. Unused buses parked up, but obviously not enough drivers to man and drive buses for a more frequent service. Still pricey when compared with budget fares for 4 day trip, cost of parking was the same as the flight. Pros: Convenient, close to terminal. Cons: Partially sloping surface, not enough bus stops.
Mr Staneland, 07 Sep 05
Very good service although we did not see any personnel. Easy to find, easy to use and near airport which was a bonus. Cons: Near airport, good bus service, we particularly liked card system for entering park and easy location of bus stops.
Miss Summers, 05 Sep 05
Could do with notices to remind drivers to remember where their car is parked! That is the only problem we have encountered on our many stays at mid-term car park. the transfers are fairly quick, so not much hanging around. Pros: Near the airport and regular coach transfer. Cons: Can be cold waiting for the coach.
Mr Stack, 04 Sep 05
My experience was fine. A little costly, but good location only 3-4 minutes from the terminal. A very minor point but for the price I think you could expect a tarmac surface to the car park! Pros: Very close, only 3-4 minutes from terminal.
Miss King, 01 Sep 05
Car park was well signposted, found a space pretty easily, short transfer to airport and didn't have to wait many minutes for the bus, most importantly...my car was still there when I returned and not a scratch on it...always a good thing!! Pros: Very convenient.
