Arrival Procedure
Park outside the Airparks Services reception building and check in and your car will safely be parked for you. You will be transferred to the on-airport multi-modal interchange which is connected to all Terminals via Travelators.

Departure Procedure
On your return simply wait where you were dropped off and the 20 minute bus service will transfer you back to the car park.

Transfers to Manchester Airport
Regular transfers operate 24 hours a day. Transfers take approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions. You should allow 50 minutes for check-in and transfer to the airport. Airparks now offers a NEW more frequent service to and from the Airport using the brand new transport interchange. Customers are delivered to, and picked up from the transport interchange from where there is easy access to the terminals using the high level covered walkways. By avoiding the congestion at and between the terminals Airparks now provides a more frequent service with shorter waiting times at the car park and at the airport. The interchange is ideal for those customers using terminals 1 and 2. Customers using terminal 3 have a longer walk to the terminal, this is fine for those with limited luggage. Those with more luggage should consider one of our alternative car parks which drop off directly outside the terminal.

No mobile homes, lorries, caravans etc are permitted, even if multiple spaces are booked. Trailers are allowed. No motor homes, minibuses, lorries, caravans, trailers or other high sided vehicles are permitted even if multiple space are booked. Airparks are unable to carry bikes, surfboards, canoes or other large objects which do not fit on the luggage racks. We recommend that you use these directions in conjunction with an up to date map. Your car will be checked by Airparks staff and digital, time-stamped photographs will be taken of any marks or damage.

Airparks Handforth Dean Directions

• WARNING: Please refer to the directions below from Junction 3 on the M60 ringroad. Some online route planners may not lead you straight to the car park.
• FROM THE SOUTH: Exit M6 North at Junction 18 and follow A54 (Holmes Chapel). After approx 1.25 miles at double roundabout, follow A535 signposted Macclesfield. At Roundabout (after 6 miles), go straight on following signs for A535 Wilmslow & Alderley Edge. Follow A535 to END. At junction with A34, turn left onto A34. At roundabout follow A34 bypass Handforth M60. At 4th roundabout Take 1st exit Handforth Dean and Brooke Park Ind Est. At small roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Long Marl Drive. At the next roundabout take 2nd exit into Airparks site.
• FROM THE NORTH: M6 onto M61 then onto M60 and exit at Junction 3 onto A34 southbound. Stay on the A34 (ignoring all Airport signs) through one set of traffic lights and over 3 roundabouts. After 3rd roundabout follow slip road on the left signposted Handforth Dean Cars Only under the bridge below A34. At small roundabout take 3rd exit. The Airparks entrance is straight ahead.
• FROM THE WEST: Liverpool M62, follow M62 until it joins M60 following the signs for Manchester Airport and Stockport. Exit M60 at Junction 3 following signs for Cheadle & Wilmslow A34. Then follow directions 'from the North'.
• FROM THE WEST: Chester & North Wales, exit M56 at junction 6 A538 Wilmslow. Follow signs from Wilmslow into town centre. At T junction and traffic lights, turn left & go straight through next traffic lights to mini roundabout and turn right following A34 Manchester and Handforth Dean. At the roundabout take the first exit (left) onto A34 at Atlantic Ford, over 1 roundabout. At 2nd roundabout take the first exit signposted Handford Dean & Brooke Ind Est. At small roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Long Marl Drive. At the next roundabout take 2nd exit into Airparks.
• FROM EAST/NORTH EAST: Exit M62 at junction 18 onto M60 Manchester Airport and Ashton. Join M60 & exit junction 3 following signs for Cheadle & Wilmslow A34. Then follow directions 'from the North.'
• FROM EAST: Sheffield, A628 or A57, join M67 leading into M60, turn left onto M60 following sighs for Manchester Airport and Stockport. Exit junction 3 following signs for Cheadle and Wilmslow, A34. Then follow direction 'from the North'.

Mrs Swift, 07 Sep 06 We generally use this Manchester car park because it is conveniently situated, reasonably priced and the service is excellent - only 20 miniutes from check in to drop off.
Pros: Fast, efficient, convenient and secure.
Cons: Off airport - not undercover - not a lot of leg room for we tall folk!

Miss Glover, 06 Sep 06 All worked out fine. Would be helpful to know when next bus is due to arrive, an electronic sign would be very helpful.
Cons: Luggage area difficult to access.

Miss Quinney, 21 Feb 06 Easy to find and straightforward check-in. It was quite a distance from the airport, but this was made clear when we booked and wasn't a problem. Buses were waiting to transfer us to and from the airport on each journey. It would have been better if they dropped off actually at the terminal, but the walk from the station was not long and was well signed. I would recommend them.
Pros: Good directions, bus was waiting on both arrival and departure.
Cons: Quite a distance from the airport.

Miss Smith, 10 Dec 05 Airparks Manchester was easy to find - well directed using information recd from the website. Once there, the details of how to park and where to register were clear. Would've appreciated being informed how often the coaches were and when the next one was, instead we were just left to wait outside in the freezing cold with little information about when the next one would arrive. Journey to airport was relatively quick with dropoff only at terminal 2 which was a bit of pain as travelling from terminal 1! We returned to the same point for pickup 4 days later and the coach was already there which was good. Back at the airparks the receipt of key and drive off was very quick, meaning we could depart within 5 mins of arriving at Airparks. Overall, we found the experience excellent value for money but if we'd paid more, would perhaps have expected more such as the points made above. Would recommend the park to others looking for a no-frills transfer with minimum fuss.
Pros: Easy to find, excellent value for money, friendly staff, quick service.
Cons: Would prefer multi terminal drop offs, somewhere to wait indoors for the coach as it was freezing, should state how often coaches leave,

Mr Watson, 05 Dec 05 Excellent service, just a little too far out in my opinion. Extremely helpful staff and my thanks to your member of staff who boost started my vehicle within 5 minutes of me finding a flat battery.
Pros: Not too long to wait for transfer.
Cons: A little bit far away through a busy road network, could be subject to delay at peak times, fortunately this did not apply to my journey schedule.

Mr Smith, 29 Nov 05 Location bad due to state of car park. I think when the bus sets off for the airport for returning passengers, staff should de-ice customers cars ready for collection. Plus bus drivers need educating due to erratic driver on our return. I am a coach driver myself and an instructor.
Cons: Bad location, pot holes, cars should be de-iced prior to pick up.

Mr Nicholls, 22 Sep 05 Easy to locate, Airparks offer a friendly competent service. We were particularly pleased as our flight check in area was yards away from our drop off point. On our return the driver was jolly and very positive, thanks for that. We would be happy both to use and recommend Airparks again in the future.

Our transfers to and from the airport were quick (given prevailing traffic conditions). We didn't have to wait to be picked up either time. Overall a positive experience. Thank you to the Airparks staff.

Mr Hornsby, 19 Sep 05 We found the directions to this carpark the easiest to find. The Staff were very friendly and helpful with the check in and dealing with our luggage. We did not have to wait long to be on our way to the Airport and our return journey was just as efficient.
