BCP Meet & Greet Overview

Meet & Greet Option Arrive at the Airport terminal, unload your luggage and an official will safely park your car for you! On your return your car is delivered back to the terminal ready for a swift departure.

Car storage facilities: off-airport suitable

Arrival Procedure
The chauffeur will meet you outside the new terminal by the departure door. He/she will be carrying a BCP clipboard and be in a grey suit / light blue shirt for easy identification. The front of the terminal is strictly no waiting zone and your vehicle must not be left unattended. The driver will be at the meeting point at your designated meeting time, and will wait for 15 minutes after the meeting time unless contacted to wait longer. Your vehicle is then parked undercover on a private off-airport parking site approx 8 miles from stansted airport.

Departure Procedure
Do not go outside the terminal or they will miss the driver. The BCP chauffer will meet you inside the terminal in the arrivals area. (They will be carrying a bcp name board for easy identification). The driver will then escort you back to your car in zone D of the short stay car park (security restrictions prevent them leaving your car outside the terminal). This pick up facility has a 15-minute free access period.

Disabled Facilities
This car parking option is very suitable for disabled travellers.

Security at Stansted BCP Meet & Greet
The site is fully secured and insured with security lighting.

Insurance
Fully insured. Claims cannot be considered unless advised to the chauffeur at the time.

Notes
PLEASE NOTE: This service is not available before 4am.
Also, the meet & greet service is not available if your car is any form of taxi, cab, hackney carriage or vehicle licensed for hire. All these are considered "taxis". Chauffeurs are not licensed and therefore not insured to drive them.

Mrs Markham, 16 Aug 06 Someone was waiting for us when we arrived at the airport and we just emptied out the luggage and gave him the keys. Despite arriving back in the UK on the day that the alert status was put at critical, on not being able to find the greeter, one phone call and we were advised of alternative meeting place. Within minutes our car pulled up. Very polite and helpful driver. Will certainly use again and would recommend it.
Pros: Great to be able to drive up to departures and just get out with luggage and hand over your car.

Sph, 09 Aug 06 No complaints at all. Greatly enhanced the overall travel experience. Meant I could leave home later on the way out and was back home earlier on return.

Mrs O, 15 May 06 The greeter got there on time, and all I had to do was walk into the departure area. Also on my return the greeter was meant to be waiting at arrivals, but I got there earlier than anticipated. Even with that, she kept on apologizing for not getting there before me, which wasn't her fault. You hardly get such customer service these days. I'll definitely be using BCP Meet & Greet again.
Pros: Efficient and effective service.

Mr Blackman, 06 May 06 This was the first time I had used BCP Meet & Greet as I usually fly from Gatwick. It could not have been easier. Not the cheapest, but no hassle either. No delays, no problems. They even validate the parking ticket to get out of the car park when you are ready to drive home after you land. Excellent.
Pros: Easy, convenient, no hassle.

Cons: Perhaps more prominent BCP sign on clipboard for returning passengers in the busy terminal.

Mr Shipway, 26 Apr 06 I booked the BCP Meet & Greet parking online one day before my travel and was concerned that it might not work, for such a short notice. But IT DID! PERFECTLY. I even telephoned to check whether they needed a confirmation of our arrival, but it was not necessary. Their driver was there exactly at stated times, both on departure and arrival and everything worked beautifully. WELL DONE BCP!

Mr Holmes, 24 Apr 06 Good service. Pick up went smoothly, even after changing arrival time late on. Had to wait for car on return as the company had more than one customer on the flight, but only for about 10/15 mins.
Pros: No transfers to/from the car parks.
