45/50 Mr King, 14 Oct 06 Overall service was great, booking in, transfers etc. No complaints at all. Will use your service again when flying from Stansted.
Pros: The cost.
Cons: Distance from the airport.

30/50 Miss Johnson, 07 Sep 06 Overall the service was good and efficient, it took a while for the transfer coaches to leave but if you allow plenty of time it should not be a problem.
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Quite a long way from the airport.

50/50 Mrs Devonshire-Oates, 06 Sep 06 Easy to find, away from the airport so you dont get stuck in any traffic. The staff were really helpful and there isn't the bun fight to get on the airport bus as you have a minibus service waiting for you... Great, would definitely use again!
Pros: Very good value for money, minibus service.

10/50 Mr Campbell, 06 Sep 06 I would not recommend this parking to anyone unless they dont mind their vehicles being used whilst away - my car had been driven 10 miles, impossible directions, rude staff, dodgy transfer buses, maniac bus drivers, long waits for transfers and being miles away from the airport.
Pros: None.
Cons: Everything!

10/50 Mr Peters, 05 Sep 06 On arrival at Gateway we had to wait for 55 mins in the rain. The reception area was a good 35mins from the airport. We unloaded our car (including a Surf board) and waitied 55 mins for the pick up. Staff were walking past us and nothing was said. When the mini coach arrived we were told to check the surf board in at reception, at which point the receptionist just said no. There was no help what so ever to help our situation. If they had told us this when we arrived and removed the board (55mins earlier)from the car I could have dropped the board at the airport and returned. On return there was no coordination in the pick up. The key numbers which you usually qoute on exiting baggage reclaim were not used, so it was a first come first serve basis. The mini buses were not regular and it was difficult to get on a mini bus if you are a single male as they take Children first - every time. So mini buses kept coming and going full of families who'd just touched down, and I had to wait 1hr 30mins for a bus to take us. The whole service was appauling, from the parking location to the transfers. I've used purple parking before and will pay a little extra and do so again. Never use this parking company if you want to enjoy your holiday as they'll put you in a thoroughly bad mood!.
Pros: None.
Cons: Terrible customer Service.

30/50 Mr Sikora, 05 Sep 06 Transfer took the best part of 20 mins.
Pros: Reasonably priced.
Cons: A little far away from the airport.

40/50 Mr Kelly, 15 May 06 We were travelling with an 11 month old baby and found the service really good. We didn't have to hang around for a bus as both times there was a bus waiting for us. Good value for money and will definitely use them again.
Pros: Good value for money.
Cons: Situated a bit far away from the airport.

50/50 Mr Sydor, 15 May 06 We found the car patk, but were confused by some of the directions. A little map would help if possible, pictures speak a thousand words... many thanks otherwise.
Pros: Well-organised and good value.

30/50 Anonymous, 15 May 06 I didn't feel confident leaving my car at the office at all. The office was shabby and run down and the whole set up seemed very amateur. When I rang the office, at one point the receptionist covered the mouthpiece and shouted "Would you all shut up!" Not exactly the height of professionalism!
Pros: Cheap.

10/50 Mr Lewis, 09 May 06 We waited for an hour for an available bus on our return. After the second bus was again too full, we rang the depot and were disgusted at the attitude of the lady at reception. Also, the drivers were offhand and one said he should have finished earlier but they were UNEXPECTEDLY busy. Surely they should know how many people had booked? A cowboy run outfit!!!!!

40/50 Mr Miller, 08 May 06 I found the staff very helpful and supportive in getting us to the airport in time to catch the flight. We were running late in catching our flight.
Pros: Very helpful staff.
Cons: Need to give yourself plenty of time for transfer.

45/50 Mr Sewell, 03 May 06 In spite of the distance, the service was good. Friendly staff, and the wait at the airport on the return was nil.
Pros: Reasonably cheap, available, not too difficult to find.
Cons: Distance from airport.

45/50 Mrs Hubball, 25 Apr 06 Found the drivers very friendly, did not have to wait to be taken or picked up from the airport. A little far, but did not put me off using them again.
Pros: Very good value for money.
Cons: A little far from Airport.

35/50 Mr Vicary, 25 Apr 06 A cheap and cheerful parking system. A bit far out and quite hard to find, but worth the money and time.
Pros: Cheap and cheerful!
Cons: Far away and hard to find.

15/50 Mrs Goodwin, 24 Apr 06 Having turned up at the parking lot a single woman with 3 kids, I checked in the car. Lady on the desk was helpful. I apologised for being a little late. I arrived at 11.45am and my flight was at 1.10pm. She told me the bus would be leaving at 12 and was a 10 minute journey, so I would be at the airport in plenty of time. The bus driver gave me no help loading the pushchair on the bus and promptly hoovered the office!!! 12 o'clock came and he was still hoovering. I waited another 5 minutes and then went to push them. I told them I had a plane to catch and needed to go. Another couple then turned up so the driver decided to wait for them. We left the car park at 12.15...the journey took 20 minutes and by the time we got to Stansted and I had struggled to get the pushchair out by myself, got the kids and luggage in order and ran into the airport, the check in desk was shut. Due to air strikes in France, the help desks were manic so we missed our plane. I had to stay in the Holiday Inn and fly the next day, which of course all cost me a total of £240 extra...shocking service, ignorant drivers and certainly not very helpful for parents with children.....steer clear.
Cons: Disorganised and do not communicate.

20/50 Mr Hendriks, 24 Apr 06 There was total confusion when we returned, as the ticket said to wait in one area, when ringing the office as instructed on ticket, they gave us a different area to wait at and bus was in a 3rd place, causing us to waste over an hour. Will not be using Gateway Parking again.
Pros: Transfer coach only every half hour and too long a transfer to airport.
Cons: Price.
