30/50 Mrs Heyburn, 20 Feb 08 My flight was delayed on my return journey. There seemed to be a huge backlog of passengers at the terminal waiting for transfer - and very few buses (we waited longer than 10 minutes) The outside temperature was freezing. I was travelling alone and felt very vunerable in the dimly lit car park whilst having to scrape the ice from my windows.
Pros: Close to Airport - shorter transfer time.
Cons: Security.

40/50 Mr Armstrong, 02 Jan 08 All went well. No problems finding or accessing the car park. Entry and exit system worked smoothly. No wait at all for the bus to Departures and only a short one on our return. Bus driver was excellent, helpful and had a sense of humour.
Pros: Good value. Cheaper for us than taking a taxi both ways.
Cons: We were worried that we might have to wait a long time for the bus.

10/50 Mr Elisha, 02 Jan 08 Their driver was a jobsworthy, the official at the car park was full of dumb insolence and a clever dick who refused/could not see the problems from a client's point of view...why don't they send an oap with 2 grandchildren who neither knows nor understands the intricacies...to review their system...unless you're lucky or have done it before, it's obscure to say the least and inconsiderate at best...e.g - from the yellow to blue zones (for returning) is 30 yards, or so, by the time the driver has changed his sign to yellow/blue, he's already past you...so you haven't seen the change...the rear doors, it seems, have a mind of their own and closed twice on people struggling to exit with luggage...an accident waiting to happen, the driver cannot hear shouts of stop from the back...customers not putting luggage in racking...2 x cases fell over onto me...it's an absolute shambles...almost as if the unions are running it...are they??? Quite honestly, the next time I'll sort something else out...oh, and by the way, the map you give doesn't correspond with the street names that exist...I'd be ashamed if it were my company...can't see you posting this one up...can you???

45/50 Ms Arezina, 28 Dec 07 Despite forgetting to bring same card used to make booking, friendly staff were able to organise exit with minimal delay.
Pros: Self drive/park. Very close to airport - short, regular transfers.

50/50 Mr Harris, 28 Dec 07 What you need is a LARGE PINK ELEPHANT THAT FLASHES an ARROW >>>> at 4am in the morning a little extra help is needed I pulled into the parking by the entrance not knowing that it was the correct entrance! Then I saw a small pink elephant not obvious in the frost and fog.
Cons: Poor signs at entrance on roundabout.

35/50 Mr Tinson, 26 Dec 07 The car park is easy to find, and close to the terminal, and there was a queue of coaches waiting to take us to departures, but they don't leave until every inch is crammed. On the way back too, the coach showed up soon after we joined the queue, but it was very full. At least the transfer only takes a few minutes.
Pros: Near the terminal, regular transfers.
Cons: Long way to park, crammed coaches.

30/50 Mr Parker, 19 Dec 07 Elderly people (75 years old ) having to stand on bus - should have several seats for elderly.
Cons: Not enough seats on bus.

20/50 Mr Fahie-wlson, 19 Dec 07 We use this service fairly regularly and each time are appalled at the long waiting times, particularly on the return journey, for transport from outside the terminal to the car park. 10 years+ ago the waiting times were reasonable about 10 minutes but the last few years the wait has rarely been less than about 20 minutes and on one occasion was 45 minutes when there were too many people and not enough buses. On cold early morning or winter days it really spoils the trip. This is disgraceful especially considering the exorbitant prices.
Cons: Very bad service from terminal to car park at too high price.

40/50 Mrs Davis, 19 Dec 07 Unfortunately due to circumstances outside our control we missed our outward flight and wondering how to extract our car and re-park the following day we sought advice from one of the car park staff who was extremely helpful, so he helped defuse a somewhat distressing experience.
Pros: Good staff and good transfers, minimal wait.
Cons: Quite a distance from airport.

40/50 Miss Rennie, 18 Dec 07 It was absolutely fine and I would book with them again. The car park was further away than I had thought, and this wasn't an issue other than when we returned we did have a wait for the bus, by which time there was a very long queue. Luckily we were towards the front so were able to get on the first bus - I wouldn't have wanted to wait a further 10-15mins for the next one.
Pros: Convenience.
Cons: Bit of a wait for the coach back to the car park.

40/50 Mr Summers, 18 Dec 07 Upon entering the car park, I didn't have to wait long for a bus to the terminal although it was a fair distance away (about 10 mins). The bus itself was clean and the staff were friendly. When returning to the UK it was straight onto the bus and I was on my way within 15 minutes. No frills parking at it's best!
Pros: Easy to book online, quick and easy to gain entry to the car park (although you wouldn't expect a rush at 4:30 in the morning!) and just as easy to get out after returning from holiday.
Cons: Poor directions/signage to the car park and not enough signs to notify you where you've parked.

50/50 Mrs Yellon, 18 Dec 07 We were a little nervous to use the long term car park as opposed to the mid term as we thought the transfer was going to take a lot longer, maybe we were lucky, but we were very nicely surprised to get very fast and easy transfers. The car park being closer to the M11, it made our getting there and back home quite fast too. We have now decided to use Pink Elephant again, lets hope we are not dissapointed.
Pros: Easy transfers, cheaper than midterm.

45/50 Mr Lowe, 18 Dec 07 I/we use this service many times a year. It is good value for trips up to 3-4 weeks, after that taxi's are better value for us. The only down side is the return trip to the car park...buses are always overcrowded and not that frequent...yet you often see buses parked up in groups as you are delivered back to your cars...very frustrating!!!
Pros: Quick and easy transfer to the terminal.
Cons: Buses always overcrowded on return.

45/50 Miss Munson, 18 Dec 07 I felt safe leaving my car there and it was great value for money - and easy to find! The bus for the transfer to the terminal arrived after only a few minutes wait and it was only a short trip to the terminal. On my return, the return bus was well sign posted and it was easy to find my car. I would definitely use the service again.
Pros: Secure, cheap.

50/50 Mrs Oliver, 10 Dec 07 I would recommend this site to everyone and I will be using Pink Elephant again, The location was great and so easy to find, I traveled down from Somerset and did not need the sat Nav once which I use to guide me everywhere, The site is very secure,What I was most impressed with, is the bus takes you around the site when you return from your journey and leaves you directly where your car is parked. Thank you.
Pros: Great location.
Cons: There isn't any.

50/50 Mrs Brooker, 07 Dec 07 Only thing we found was that the Pink Elephant name was not prominently displayed at the entrance. Not being familiar with Stansted we didn't know whether there were other long stay car parks operated by other companies. A prominent sign would make things even better!
Pros: Good regular bus service, all very efficient.
Cons: Signage at entrance could be improved.
